VS KUSHINGA PHILELELA COLLEGE
The 1st Basketball Team played a match against Kushinga Philelela College and won the match.

  • 1st Team won 41-21

The PHG senior soccer team played their match against Watershed and the results was:

The next day our Basketball teams travelled to Harare to play St John’s emerald Hill. The results were as follows:

  • U14 won 9-5
  • U15 won 10-2
  • U16 lost 7-8
  • 1st Team won 59-7 (the game was shortened by the umpires due to the scoreline)

The PHG C hockey teams played the Gateway B teams. The resutls were as follows:

The A hockey teams played Gateway A teams – the results being:

  • U16A won 3-0

EFI EVENTING WORLD CHALLENGE
Sienna Page rode in the EFI Eventing World Challenge at Hillcrest over the weekend. She rode Porterhouse and in the Eventing Derby Category D Class, she earned a 1st place.

The 1st Team won the Pearl Trophy for the 1st time since the introduction of this trophy in 2019.

STEM
The STEM Club Science and Engineering fair took place on Friday 14 July 2023. The theme was Innovation in Zimbabwe. The standard of projects was high and very innovative.
The results were as follows:

In 3rd place also winning the most innovative project- Nokutenda Mapokotera, Grace and Mary Mahofa with their project- Patchy the patchmaker – filling potholes with recycled material

In second Place- Matifadza Madera, Munashe Matsuro and Taboka Godie- with their homemade deodorant Neveah.
In First place winning the Matonda Cup-Shania Jin, Natalie Chinorwadza and Gigi Nyambirai, they were also recognised as having the most innovative project
