Springvale House
A beautiful co-ed country school nestled within the Peterhouse Group of Schools campus.
Springvale House is a wonderful, happy, co-educational country school, and is the junior component of the Peterhouse Group of Schools. Situated just outside Marondera, the school is surrounded by granite kopjes and hidden by majestic msasas. The well-manicured gardens and green lawns are a direct contrast to the natural bush found beyond the school buildings.
The Peterhouse Group is led by the Rector, Mr Jon Trafford; he also has responsibility on a day-to-day basis for Peterhouse Boys. Peterhouse Girls is led by its Headmistress, Mrs Claire Hough, and Springvale House is led by its Headmaster, Mr Paul Martin.
The Rector and the Heads of Peterhouse Girls and Springvale House are all members of the Conference of Heads of Independent Schools in Zimbabwe (CHISZ), and the Rector is an overseas member of The Headmasters’ and Headmistresses’ Conference (HMC) which represents the top 350 independent schools in the UK and across the globe.
