Peterhouse Group of Schools

Welcome to Admissions

We are always excited to welcome new families to our estate and show them around our leafy, tranquil and expansive school.

While visiting in person is the ideal way to get a feel for our school, we invite you to learn more about Peterhouse by:

Selecting a school can be both confusing and daunting but we are here to help you in any way we can.

International Pupils

Roughly 10% of our pupils are based outside the country – Peterhouse is their home away from home. International pupils form part of our diverse community.

The first step in the admission process is to ensure that you have clear copies of the following documents to attach to your application – we accept photocopies or scanned documents but please do not screenshot (ideally resized to 2MB per document.  Documents larger than this may need to be sent individually) We highly recommend the DocScanner App:

  • A copy of your child’s birth certificate (or passport for International pupils).
  • A copy of your child’s most recent school report.
  • A colour passport photo.

The second step of the admission process is to complete an Application Form which can be found on the links below, you will be required to attach the supporting documentation mentioned in step 1.

The Registration Fee – Once we have successfully received your documentation, you will be asked to pay a registration fee. Bank details will be sent to you by the relevant registrar.  The registration fee is currently $50 or the equivalent in RTGS. (Rates provided by registrar)

Information regarding our school fees can also be obtained from the Registrar

At this point your registration is complete, but the admission process is not yet over. You will then be contacted by the relevant heads office to have a formal interview, we use this opportunity to get to know you and your child.

We will keep you up to date with information you may find helpful such as dates for Open Days and details regarding your meeting with the Head.

The fifth step in the admission process is for your child to write the Common Entrance Assessment. It is normally written on the first Saturday in July of the Grade 7 year. Details of this will be sent to you in due course.

Should your child be accepted into the Peterhouse family, an Entry Fee and signed Entry Form will be required to secure your child’s place.
