PHB STEM Club Shines at Chisipite Science Fair
Senior Category Triumph
Darren Mudekunye, our Senior Scholar, emerged victorious in the Senior Category. His groundbreaking project, titled “Knowledge for All,” introduced an offline Artificial Intelligence software program designed for rural communities. Notably, Darren’s work also earned him the Most Socially Aware Project award. For these remarkable achievements, Darren received a prize of US $200, which will be reinvested into the STEM club.
Junior Team’s Ambitious Project
While the Juniors didn’t secure a win, their project was no less ambitious. Focused on saving Ruware Dam from an invasive plant species, the team—comprising Kudakwashe Chifamba, Adrian Mudekunye, Jared Mundingi, and Joshua Chinhundu—demonstrated dedication and environmental consciousness.
Special thanks to Mr. Ndlovu for expertly coaching the boys throughout this exciting journey.
