PASTIS Club

This week, the PASTIS Club met with the Interact Club at Macheke High School for a meaningful and insightful discussion.

Students explored disparities between men’s and women’s sports, particularly in relation to funding and prioritisation, while also acknowledging the often-limited focus on men’s rights. Discussions extended to academic and physiological challenges faced by different genders, as well as societal pressures surrounding beauty standards and academic performance.

The group reflected on both the positive motivational aspects and the negative impacts of these pressures, including peer influence, self-acceptance, and struggles with self-image — particularly in the context of social media.
