The Peterhouse 1st XI cricket tour to the Eastern Cape was a valuable development experience focused on resilience, growth, and team building. The team competed strongly against quality opposition, with several close matches, and showed clear improvement over the course of the tour. The boys represented Peterhouse with excellent conduct and teamwork throughout.

  • Victor Watama – Outstanding all-round performance, including multiple five- and four-wicket hauls; finished 3rd out of 66 players for wickets taken
  • Ndiriwashe Munatsirei – Top run scorer for Peterhouse; highlighted by 78* vs St Alban’s; finished 22nd overall for runs
  • Cameron Oosthuizen, Tyler Chapman, Isaac Hildebrand, Spencer Bean, and Tawonashe Nyamasoka – for key batting and bowling contributions

Tour Highlight:
Attending a South Africa T20 match (Sunrisers vs Durban Super Giants), which inspired the boys through exposure to professional cricket.

Congratulations to the Peterhouse boys on winning the Bruce Kennedy Cup Tournament, delivering an outstanding set of performances throughout.

This victory is especially significant, marking Peterhouse’s first Bruce Kennedy Cup title in 70 years, making it a historic achievement for the school.

Debate Training Workshop

Saturday, 17 January

PHB and PHG successfully hosted the annual debate training workshop, attended by six schools. The workshop was led by Harare-based debate expert Mr E. Kudita.

International Moot Court – Romania

25 November – 2 December 2025

Congratulations to Tinashe Lewanika, who represented Zimbabwe at the International Moot Court held in Câmpulung-Muscel, Romania. This prestigious competition mirrors a courtroom environment, bringing together high school advocates from around the world to argue complex international law cases.

Tinashe distinguished himself, earning the Best Defensive Oralist trophy, while the Zimbabwe National Moot Court Team achieved 3rd place overall.


UNDP Hackathon & Econet E-Novato Expo

November–December 2025 | Harare

During his O’ Break, Adrian Mudekunye was selected for the United Nations Development Program’s Lithium Value Chain Hackathon for the AI Innovation Sprint Week.

Congratulations to Adrian for winning US$5,000 at the Econet E-Novato Expo held from 8–10 December at the HICC in Rainbow Towers. Each team presented a three-minute pitch and demo to a panel of six industry experts.
