Congratulations to Joel Mandingaisa who finished 3rd at the Super 8 Championship Tournament held in Harare over the weekend. Joel won 5 matches and lost 2. Joel was selected to participate in the upcoming ZONAL Games.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
STEM: Maths Olympiad

Thirty boys participated in the International Mathematics Assessment for Schools (IMAS) in three mathematical competency divisions:
Junior High (A Block); Upper Primary (B Block); and Middle Primary (C Block) on the 21st of January 2025.

Congratulations to 18 boys who achieved certificates of excellence as follows. The boys qualify to tour as part of the Zimbabwe IMAS team to Vietnam in August should they wish to.

Junior High Division:

Credit for Mudekunye Adrian.
Distinctions for Kudakwashe Chifamba, Simon Nyadundu, Jack Havercroft and Shumba Shingai.
High Distinction for Tinotenda Chimberengwa.
Special mention to Tinotenda Chimberengwa for ranking in the top 11% of all IMAS participants.

Upper Primary Division

Credits for Timukudze Dube, Victor Zinyengere, Melubuhle Zikhali and Connor Stokes Grist.
Distinctions for Tinashe Matara and Mufudzindishe Kamusasa
High Distinction for Joshua Kay.
Special mention to Joshua Kay for ranking in the top 19% of all IMAS participants.

Middle Primary Division

Credits for Yu Heming, Riley Findlay and Isheanesu Mutevhe.
Distinctions for Thabiso Mtwazi and Dhiaan Vaghela.

DEBATE
Vs PHG – 11th March

  • Juniors A – PHB lost with 55%, to PHG’s 70%. Isheanesu Mutevhe was the Third Best Speaker.
  • Juniors B – PHB won with 69%, to PHG’s 68%. Dian Nyamayaro was the Best Speaker. Blessing Chakumhara was the Third Best Speaker.
  • Intermediates A – PHB won with 71%, to PHG’s 67%. Adrian Mudekunye was the Best Speaker, and Kudakwashe Chifamba was the Third Best Speaker.
  • Intermediates B – PHB won with 70%, to PHG’s 69%. Washe Shumba was the Best Speaker, and Victor Zinyengere was the Second Best Speaker

DRAMA
House Plays – 11th and 13th March

After nearly a year of working towards these productions, the House Plays finally became a reality! Congratulations to the hardworking play leaders, cast and crew who invested many hours into the productions, giving the rest of the school a wonderful evening of storytelling and surprising endings!
