Peterhouse came 2nd overall out of 6 schools losing to CBC in the final. Congratulations Taundi Tapfuma, Bongani Dube and Logan Young on being selected for the Zimbabwe U17 squad. We wish them all the best on their upcoming tour.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

INTERACT – Thursday 19th September
The Interact Club members visited Ida Wekwako Old People’s Home. They served members of the home pastries and drinks, thanks to your donations, as they listened to the old folk’s life stories.

QUIZWednesday 18th September

  • Juniors: Kudakwashe Chifamba, Kodzero Chinhara, Adrian Mudekunye and Jared Mundingi came 1st out of 17 schools.
  • Seniors: Masimbaashe Chinodyaruswa, Farirai Rwezuva, Adrian Mudekunye and Kudakwashe Chifamba came 4th out of 17 schools.
  • Overall, Peterhouse came 2nd out of 17 schools.

JUNIOR BASS FISHING
Tri Nations Triangular Test 2024

Congratulations to Nick Orphanides and Cameron Rae who have been selected as part of the junior national bass angling team which will compete in the inaugural Tri-Nations Test against the USA and South African youth teams, hosted by Zimbabwe at Mazvikadei Dam from the 8th-12th December 2024.

THE ATS PUBLIC SPEAKING CONTESTS – Friday 20th September

  • Juniors: Victor Zinyengere came 15th out of 20 speakers, with his speech titled: Wifi Revolution Connecting the Dots.
  • Intermediates: Adrian Mudekunye came 14th out of 20 speakers with his speech titled: The One Who Shall Conquer the World.
  • Seniors: Blessed Matsikidze came 3rd out of 20 speakers, with his speech titled: A Call to Care.
  • Overall, Peterhouse Boys came 12th out of 20 schools.
