Cape Town Belgotex Hockey Easter Festival
31 March – 5 April 2026
The PHB 1st Team Hockey side recently participated in the Cape Town Belgotex Hockey Easter Festival held in Cape Town. The boys performed exceptionally well during the group stages, remaining unbeaten with two wins and one draw, narrowly missing top spot on goal difference. The team eventually finished 30th out of 64 teams in a highly competitive tournament.
Several players received Man of the Match awards, namely Isaac Hildebrand, Tapfuma Taundi, Rufaro Nyamupingidza and Israel Nzanga.

Well done to Tungamirai Chinhamo, Jason Moulder and Guy Annandale, who represented Zimbabwe at the South African Senior Rowing Championships. The boys performed to a high standard in their events, with all three winning medals.

Peterhouse boys’ rugby teams embarked on a successful tour to South Africa during the holidays. The results were as follows:

CULTURAL RESULTS
CHISIPITE SCIENCE FAIR
Monday 30 March 2026
Congratulations to all the boys who competed, demonstrating great diligence and tenacity.
Joshua Chinhundu and Joshua Wekwete achieved 3rd place in the Senior Category, winning USD100 for their project:
R.A.F.T. (Root Activated Fertilizer Technology)
The project focused on reducing fertilizer waste and environmental pollution, while simultaneously increasing fertilizer efficiency.
AFRICA WORLD SCHOOLS DEBATE CHAMPIONSHIP
27 March – 3 April 2026
Peterhouse Boys and Girls participated in the inaugural Africa World Schools Debate Championship, including Public Speaking.
Competing schools included Bauhouse Academy, Northwest, Al Nur School, The Royal Pact Debating Academy, Falcon College, Arundel School and The Glen High School. RPDA and Gauteng Debate at the University of Pretoria hosted the event.
