Tour to SA – Results
Peterhouse boys first XI, led by Mr Banda, toured Cape Town where the boys had an opportunity to compete against some top schools. 92 schools took part in the Festival, and the results were as follows:

ROWING
David Weller, Tungamirai Chinhamo, Jason Moulder and Guy Annandale represented Zimbabwe in the Development squad at the South African Senior Rowing championships held during the holidays in Pretoria. This event is attended by South African National rowers, University students and school rowers. The boys performed to a high standard in their events, with all four of them winning a medal. Special mention to Jason Moulder for winning two gold medals, and Tungamirai Chinhamo for winning a medal in each event he rowed in.
Following is a summary of the results for the Peterhouse rowers:

Furthermore, the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee has selected two junior athletes to participate in a training camp in Uganda next month, in preparation for the Youth Olympic Games next year. We are proud to announce that Tungamirai Chinhamo has been selected to represent Zimbabwe at the upcoming World Rowing training camp.

SWIMMING
Results from the SA Junior Nationals held in Cape Town. Callum Chisholm and Jude Mose achieved remarkable personal bests.
Callum Chisholm – Entered in 7 events. Did not make finals but achieved 4 new personal best times. He teamed up with Jude and two other boys to win a bronze medal in the freestyle relay.
Jude Moss – Entered in 7 events. He made 6 finals and achieved 7 new personal best times. Jude finished 4th in 3 finals. He teamed up with Callum and two other boys to win a bronze medal in the freestyle relay.
