ARCHERY
Sunday 26 November 23 was the final Archery interschool tournament of the year, and the annual awards were made after the tournament.
PHB A team placed first with 1,118 / 1200 points, over St George’s College and Hellenic Academy. The PHB B team finished sixth out of the twelve teams participating.
Musa Kurenzvi came first, with 287, and Xuan Ze Hong third with 286. Matthew Gratwicke and Kaden Hahn placed fourth and eighth in the boys’ individual competition.
In the annual awards, PHB A team came first overall in the Bull’s Eye category, and third overall in the 3D category for 2023. Xuan Ze Hong came first overall in both Bulls Eye and 3D shooting categories over the course of the year..

SWIMMING
Congratulations to our swimmers who did us proud at the week 1 Harare Swimming Championships Gala held at Les Brown over the weekend.
Herewith a brief summary of their achievements;
Tyler Moss – entered in 6 events and got 5 New Personal Best Times. 2nd in 100m Backstroke. Tyler made 5 finals and won 1 silver medal for the boys U14 4 x 50 Medley relay and 1 Bronze for boys the U14 4 x 100m freestyle
Conner Grist – entered in 7 events and got 7 New Personal Best Times. He made 3 finals. Won 1 Bronze medal for the U14 4 x 100m freestyle relay.
Jason Moulder – entered in 7 events and got 7 New Personal Best Times. He made 4 finals. Won 1 Bronze medal for the U14 4 x 100m freestyle relay and 1 Bronze for boys the U14 4 x 100m freestyle. (please present medal to Jason)
Conner Paulser – entered in 7 events and got 5 New Personal Best Times. He made 5 finals. Won 1 Silver medal for 100m backstroke and 1 Bronze medal for the 800m freestyle.
Cullum Young – entered in 6 events and got 5 New Personal Best times. He won 3 silver medals and 1 bronze medal.
TENNIS
The Zimbabwe Tennis trials were held during the weekend and Nathan Harper – Position 8 and David Harper – Position 2 were selected for the Zimbabwe U15 Tennis team. Well done boys.
WATERPOLO
This past weekend Peterhouse hosted a Water polo tournament and the results were as follows;

QUIZ
St George’s Quiz – Wednesday 22 November
The Peterhouse Junior Quiz team [Adrian Mudekunye, Tendeso Nyabereka, Kudakwashe Chifamba, Kodzero Chinhara] came 3rd out of 10 teams.
Well done to the boys.
INTERACT
Through the Transport Department, Interact delivered cooking oil, sugar, biscuits and drinks to Kukura Neshungu on Wednesday 22nd November 2023. This week, by Friday 1st December 2023, the club will deliver 110 chocolates to Borradaile Trust.
Very many thanks go to the boys who helped wrap presents for the Rector’s Christmas Party which will also take place on Friday 1 December.
DEBATE
D & C Block Interhouse Debate – Saturday 25th November
Many thanks go to Mrs Patsanza and Mrs Masaire for adjudicating the matches, and Mr Nzanga for his many weeks of organizing the event. Results are as follows:
- Grinham (65%) beat Founders (64%). The Top Speaker was Kudakwashe Chifamba with 79%
- Paget (66%) beat Snell (59%). The Top Speaker was Victor Zinyengere with 70%
- Malvern (68%) beat Ellis (56%). The Top Speaker was Adrian Mudekunye – 80%
