MODEL UNITED NATIONS
Over the half-term, PHG MUN attended the ZAMUN-MHC conference held at Martin House in Chisamba, Zambia, where seven of our girls participated. One pupil served as Chair for the WHO committee and performed exceptionally well. PHG received several awards: Anotida Kunaka was recognized as Most Honorable Delegate, and Leona Marimira was awarded both Most Honorable Delegate and Best Delegate in her room. The girls made us proud with their exemplary behavior and carried the Peterhouse Girls flag high.
MUSIC
A major highlight of the term was the visit from Trident College Orchestra from Zambia on the 18th of June. Peterhouse was honoured to host this talented group of musicians, and the interaction between the two orchestras was both enriching and inspiring. The day culminated in a collaborative evening concert, where each school performed individual pieces before coming together to deliver a powerful combined performance. The concert was a celebration of cross-border musical unity and excellence, and we hope to nurture more such collaborations with other schools in the future.
