DEBATE TOUR
Peterhouse Group of Schools participated in the inaugural Africa World Schools Debate Championship (AWSDC), including Public Speaking, alongside Bauhouse Academy, Northwest, Al Nur School, The Royal Pact Debating Academy (RPDA), Falcon College, Arundel School and The Glen High School.
The tournament was hosted by RPDA and Gauteng Debate at the University of Pretoria.
Outstanding Achievements
- Anashe Mudzudzu — 9th Best Junior Public Speaker out of 32 speakers
- Rufaro Matsika — 4th Best Senior Public Speaker out of 32 speakers
- Alyssa Zindi — Best Junior Public Speaker of the Tournament

ZIMBABWE NATIONAL DEBATE
Shiloh Deetlefs represented the Zimbabwe National Debate Team at the EAWSDC International Debate Tournament held in Nairobi, Kenya, from 7–12 May 2026, with 64 participating teams.
Congratulations to her team for securing a trophy after finishing 3rd in the quarterfinals.
Shiloh Deetlefs was also awarded two Gold Medals:
- Achieving a standard deviation of less than 0.5
- Ranking among the Top 50 Speakers, placing 34th out of 320 speakers overall
