Friday 13th March
Dear Parents and Guardians
It’s hard to believe that the term is already drawing to a close! Our time at school has been busy and rewarding, and the final weeks promise to be filled with industry in the classroom, preparation for the winter sports, and a vibrant conclusion to our cultural programme. The Eisteddfod is now underway, and the girls have already enjoyed well-deserved success for their hours of preparation and commitment. I am deeply grateful to our Music Department for their dedication in nurturing the talent and growth of our young musicians.
Congratulations are also due to our rowers, who have recently returned from a productive tour to South Africa for the SA Championships. I am grateful to the staff and parents who accompanied and supported them throughout.
This weekend, our Model United Nations team will be traveling to Ghana, and we wish them every success in their efforts as they demonstrate their commitment to global engagement and leadership. As we move towards the Easter celebration, may we remember and reflect on the sacrifice of the cross, and renew our hope in its promise.
The PHG Junior Club worked tirelessly to produce a thoroughly enjoyable classic, Little Women by Matt Buchanan, for their 2026 production. The girls brought to life the story of the ambition, kindness and success of the March sisters as they navigate the challenges of adolescence, family and societal expectations.
