FROM: THE HEADMISTRESS
Dear Parents and Guardians
It’s hard to believe that it’s half-term already. The weeks are simply flying past! The A Block, Vth and VIth
Form girls are in the midst of their public examinations, and we continue to pray for sharp minds and clear
focus for them.
Whilst the spotlight is naturally on the examination pupils, and particularly the leavers of 2024, we must also
remember that internal exams are approaching for the rest of the school. These exams hold different
significance for each year group: for D Block, these will be the first high school exams; for C Block, they are
focusing on subject selections for IGCSE; and for B Block, these are their first IGCSE exams, with the next
ones being their mocks.
While I hope everyone enjoys a little bit of downtime this weekend, I encourage all the girls to use their time
wisely for personal study and preparation.
I am also pleased to announce that the selection of School Prefects has been completed and I have included the
Office Bearers of 2025 at the end of the newsletter. Congratulations to all the girls who have been selected as
either School or House Prefects. I am looking forward to working with all of them.
This morning, we had a wonderful service of celebration as the Rt Rev Dr Farai Mutamiri, Bishop of Harare,
confirmed some of our Peterhouse girls and boys. Our congratulations are extended to them and their families
as we welcome them into church membership and service to God. As we begin this weekend, I pray that we
remember that God’s grace sustains us through every challenge and triumph, and that we continue to find
strength in His love, and guidance in His word.
Warm regards
Mrs Claire Hough
