St George’s Regatta, Mazowe

This weekend marked our first on-water regatta since March. While the lack of water time was evident, our rowers rose to the occasion and delivered some outstanding performances.

St John’s Mixed Doubles Festival

The following Peterhouse boys played five matches each with their partners:

  • Nathan Harper: Played 4, won 2, and lost 2 in the group stages. Finished 2nd in Pool A and lost 2–6 in the play-off. Awarded a medal for Most Improved Couple with his partner.
  • David Harper: Played 5, won 1, lost 4.
  • Luke Dabbs: Played 5, won 1, lost 4.
  • Carlton Chapungu: Played 5, won 0, lost 5.

Accorsi Cup and Hippo Trophy. Results were as follows;

At the St Johns Conference, Matthew Gratwicke was awarded Best Delegate in the African Union.

INTERACT VISIT TO IDA WEKWAKO: Thursday 18th September

On Thursday 18th September, the Interact Club visited Ida Wekwako Old People’s Home. The club donated sugar, served members of the home drinks and scones, sang and prayed with them. The club extends its thanks to all PHG and PHB pupils for their support of our fundraising activities.

ROTARY CLUB OF MARONDERA: Training Workshop for Interact Clubs

On Sunday 21st September, the Interact Club successfully hosted the Marondera Rotary Club Annual Training Workshop for Marondera District Schools, attended by 142 delegates from 8 schools.

ATS PUBLIC SPEAKING CONTEST 19th – 20th September

In the senior public speaking contest, Tinashe Lewanika came 1st out of 20 speakers with his speech titled “Don’t Silence Our Voice”

MUSICIAN OF THE YEAR 2025

Adjudicated by Angela Wilde and Arnold Mukarati of Hellenic Academy, the Musician of the Year competition showcased remarkable talent across the junior, middle, and senior sections, with participants competing in both vocal and instrumental categories.
