Interhouse results

The first Interhouse rowing event took place on Friday afternoon and was a success! Even some of our seasoned first-team soccer and rugby players admitted it was tougher than expected—a true testament to the challenge. Despite the gruelling intensity of the race, the atmosphere remained spirited and fun, with plenty of camaraderie and determination on display. A heartfelt thank you goes to Mr Guy Hammond for his generous donation of the stunning new trophy.

A Division Individual Gala held Saturday 13 September

  • 1st – St John’s College 210 points

TENNIS

On Friday, 12 September, our tennis teams played against Lomagundi. We had an excellent outing, winning two matches and drawing one. The 1st Team dominated with an 11–1 victory, while the U16s also impressed with an 11–1 win. The U15s fought hard to finish with a 6–6 draw.

On Saturday, we hosted the 70th Anniversary Tennis Tournament, proudly sponsored by Mr. Mandingaisa. Twelve teams from eleven schools took part in what will now be an annual event. Our boys competed strongly, reaching the quarterfinals and finishing a respectable 7th out of 12 schools. Well done to all our tennis players.

VOLLEYBALL
ATS National Championship played Saturday 13 September

The 1st team travelled to CBC to take part in the ATS championships. The competition was fierce and intense, and PHB failed to proceed beyond the semi-final stage.

Model United Nations St John’s Conference 11 – 13 September

The St John’s Conference was one of the most competitive and largest conferences of the year, with hundreds of delegates in attendance. The theme of this conference was “The Future of Sustainable Economies: Redefining Energy, Innovation and Development”. Topics included:

1. Exploring Strategies to Reduce Dependency on Fossil Fuels and Investing in Renewable Energy Sources.

2. Mitigating Nuclear Risk in a Fractured and Hostile Future.

Peterhouse delegates demonstrated confidence in their skills in research, diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking.

Zviito Nhemachena was awarded the Best Position Paper
