Petreans Fixture
Peterhouse narrowly lost 56–58 in a closely contested match.
A strong display of teamwork and resilience, pushing a competitive side to the final moments.
CRICKET
Petreans Sports Day
A successful and enjoyable day celebrating cricket at Peterhouse.
- Match 1: Peterhouse beat Petreans A | PHB showed why they remain unbeaten this season, defeating Petreans A despite an excellent bowling effort from Gordon Simpson, who helped restrict PHB to 117 in 10 overs. A fighting innings from Sean Ervine was not enough as Petreans A fell 40 runs short.
- Match 2: Petreans B beat Peterhouse | Match 2 saw Petreans B produce a disciplined performance. Sean Bennett led the batting effort with a composed innings, while Dean Peall bowled effectively to apply constant pressure, helping Petreans B secure victory by 14 runs.
- Match 3: Petreans B beat Petreans A | Petreans B comfortably chased down Petreans A’s total of 53, with Dean Peall and Alex Smith guiding the run chase. A memorable highlight came when Doug Marillier hit the biggest six of the day off the bowling of his son Luke Marillier. Well done to all involved.
