ROWING
Chisipite Regatta held on Saturday 19 July

The Chisipite indoor sprint regatta was short and sweet! Whilst we had a small contingent, we managed to walk away with a few wins.

  • Tino Charera won his single category.
  • Guy Annandale and Tungamirai Chinhamo won their doubles race, whilst Tyler Moss won the single.
  • Alex Meikle, Guy Annandale, Tyler Moss and Tunga Chinhamo won their quad race convincingly!

Finally, we would like to wish Jason Moulder all the best as he travels for the first African Schools Championships, which are being held in Algeria.

London College of Music Examinations

On 9 July, 18 boys sat their LCM Exams, achieving outstanding results with 11 Distinctions, 6 Merits, and 3 Passes.

CHESS
Vs Peterhouse Girls, played Tuesday 15 July

Peterhouse boys were too strong for their much-improved opponents.

Seniors won 5½ – ½ 
Tinashe Zireva, Tadiswa Isaya, Mathew Gratwicke, Elijah Mupangavanhu and Tadiwa Paraffin won their games whilst Takudzwa Moga’s game ended in a draw on Board 1.

Juniors won 6-0
Victorious players were Kaden Hahn, Joshua Tanser, Blessing Matsikidze, Robert Sibanda, Zvinodashe Chinhara and Godwin Kamhamba.

LEO DANCE

Thanks to Mrs Mukucha and the Leo Club for organizing a festive Rio Carnival-themed Dance, which raised funds for communities which require financial assistance. For those who signed up and attended, your support is appreciated.

INTERACT CLUB
Visit to Kukura neShungu on Thursday 17 July

Our Interact Club visited Kukura neShungu, a home for people with disabilities. The club donated groceries and snacks, and were excited to spend time with the residents playing musical chairs, dancing, and singing, fostering connection and joy.
