Peterhouse Girls’ Newsletter – 7 – Trinity Term 2025

FROM: THE HEADMISTRESS
Friday 11th July 2025

Dear Parents and Guardians
As our girls have been diligently studying for and completing exams over the past few weeks, I’ll keep my message brief today. These exams have provided valuable insights into areas where our girls need to focus their efforts before the end-of-year exams. I encourage them to use this experience as a catalyst for success in the third term, working closely with their teachers and utilizing past papers to reinforce their knowledge and strengthen any weaknesses.
With several weeks remaining of the term, it’s essential that we maintain our momentum and continue to strive for excellence. The conclusion of exams should not signal a decrease in effort, but rather a renewed focus on achieving our goals.
As we look ahead to next term, I would like to bring two compulsory trips to the attention of B and A Block parents. The B Block will embark on their annual trip to the breathtaking Chimanimani mountains, while the A Block will venture to the stunning Bubi Conservancy Valley after completing their IGCSE exams.
Both trips are integral to our outdoor education program, designed to foster leadership skills, teamwork, and unforgettable experiences. All girls are expected to participate in these trips, so I encourage A Block families to plan accordingly, considering their daughters’ schedules after exams. These trips promise to be an incredible opportunity for growth, learning, and fun. As we approach the final weeks of term, I’m confident that we’ll conclude on a high note. I wish you all a restful weekend with your loved ones and look forward to welcoming everyone back safely on Monday.

Kind Regards

Mrs Claire Hough
