Watershed U20 Tournament

The PHG 1st and 2nd Basketball teams took part in the 2023 Watershed U20 Basketball Tournament.
Our 1st team were unbeaten throughout the tournament and went on to be crowned the Gold Medal Winners. The results were as follows:

2nd Team

  • Vs Waterhsed B won 9-2
  • Vs PHG A lost 6-20

1st Team

  • Vs Watershed A won 7-3
  • Vs Convent A wom 13-7
  • Vs PHG B won 20-6
  • Vs Eaglesvale won 11-5

A League Hockey vs Arundel

The PHG A hockey teams traveled to Arundel to play the Arundel A teams. The resutls were as follows:

The PHG C hockey teams played both Lomagundi B and Tynwald A teams. The results were as follows:

Billie Jean Cup
Tanya Midzi travelled to Kenya to be part of the Zimbabwe Women’s Tennis Team which played in the Billie Jean King Trophy. The Zimbabwe Team came 4th out of the 12 countries taking part. Tanya and her doubles partner where the most sucessful Zimbabwe pairing at the tournament.

Environmental Club
On Saturday the 1st of July the Environmental club girls went to Mukuvisi woodlands. They learnt how soil and water test can be used to enhance the life span wildlife. The girls also got to understand how the animals change their behavior and adapt during drought and flooding times. Indigenous trees uses and purposes was such an interest to the girls. It was such a great day where a lot of learning took place.

Shona Club Quiz at Hill Bright
The Shona Club participated in the quiz competition, we fielded three teams. Two teams were eliminated after the first round whereas the third team was eliminated just before the final round. There were no positions given as it was a friendly fixture. Our junior girls showed off their best performances in different categories.
